The Harker Family

“It’s always a relief knowing there is somewhere we can stay so close to the hospital for all of our appointments”

“Our son received a cleft survey at the end of October and we stayed at the house. Again, the staff were so welcoming and made our stay as comfortable as possible for the 5 nights. Our son made an impeccable recovery and is having no issues. We are all doing very well at home. The house always makes us feel very welcome and comfortable. The house and staff are simply amazing and our family appreciates everything! Thank you!

Thank you again for the wonderful couple of nights stay! It’s always a relief knowing there is somewhere we can stay so close to the hospital for all of our appointments.”

We welcomed babies on October 20, 2021, in Saskatoon hospital. Our son Ash spent 100 days in NICU, during this stay he had many hurtles. Around 2 months old he was no longer able to keep his airway open from Obstructions and required breathing interventions. On January 10 he received jaw displacement surgery which required his jaw to get broken, placing metal apparatus in his jaw which was attached to two screws. Every time the screws were turned his jaw moved forward little by little. We officially came home on January 28, 2022. Since then Ash had received two more surgeries, one of which was his cleft repair. We are all doing great at home. The twins are busy and keep us on our toes!”
